An Update For The Next Few Months

With how wild things have been for us lately, I figured that it might be best to give you all an update on the next few months. A quarterly update of sorts. This is not going to be as in depth as the update we give for our email subscribers. Yet, we think all our readers deserve an update. Even if they aren’t a subscriber… Yet.

An Update For Lisa’s Next Few Months

Lisa is actually in the process of changes jobs. She still plans on working for the city of Vienna, but when she gets back at the end of August, she will be working for a different area. There she will be doing a very similar job, working with kids in crisis, but she will be working a lot less and, hopefully, travelling a lot more.

However, that’s not really an update for the next few months. It’s what happens when she gets back from her travels. The first week of July is the group scout camp. During that time, she will be in Tuln, leading the youngest group of scouts. After that, she will have her last couple weeks of work at her current job before she sets off on her big trip.

At the end of July, things really kick off for Lisa. She will be heading off with a group of scouts from all over Austria to the 25th World Scout Jamboree in South Korea. Several weeks of fun filled scouting in Korea! However, instead of coming straight back afterwards, she will be meeting me in Seoul around mid-August, where we will be going on a trip together.

An Update For Jenson’s Next Few Months

June and July are going to be pretty busy for me. I will be prepping a lot for our travels later this year, but I also have a lot of prep to do for the first week of July. Whereas Lisa is a leader for the youngest scout group in our area, I am a leader for the oldest. Therefore, I will be using most of June to prepare for that. Although we are also in Tuln, the older group tends to see a lot more of the area through a two-day hike they have to go on, and we have to prepare for them.

Then in July I have to prep my being off the grid in August, since the last time I travelled in Asia I really didn’t have time to do much other than the travel bit. Perhaps that might be different this time, but I somehow I doubt that.

Before the end of the Jamboree, I will be popping over to Budapest to catch a flight to Seoul myself. Once there, I will have some time to catch up with a few friends before meeting up with Lisa.

Together In Asia

Yet, if you want a real update for the next few months, it starts when we meet up. Once that happen, we will be doing a few things in Korea. It is still up in the air if we will be staying just in Seoul or if we are going to go see other parts of Korea. However, one of the major things we will be doing is getting our South Korea tattoos. Due to the laws (and my lack of foresight and research) I wasn’t able to get a tattoo in South Korea the last time I was there. It sucked!

However, this time I was able to find artists that are perfect for what we do. I have contacted mine (Lisa still needs to choose hers) and we are working on setting a date. I’m so excited!

Yet, that’s not the only reason time is pressed while there. From the 17th to the 22nd of August, we will be flying up to Mongolia! I am so excited to see the friends that helped kick off this journey. We even found an actual verifiable tattoo artist, so Lisa can get a tattoo while there. God, I don’t want her to have the same experience I did. That was terrifying

I’m looking forward to seeing those friends for the first time in over five years. Even more exciting is Lisa getting to meet them! It’s too short, but it’s kinda all the time that we have, as Lisa goes back to Austria from Korea on the 25th and I follow on the 26th.

Summing It Up

Our lives are about to be crazy busy and exciting. More so than usual! That’s why we figured it be best to give everyone an update for the next few months. All the Asia travel that is about to come! I was going to give an update on some of my Plans for Nomadic Inscriptions, but figured that would be best as something left for our lovely e-mail subscribers.
